I was shocked to hear it was the most read book in the world. Those who must adapt to overcoming an independent enemy’s will are not allowed that luxury. At most, they typically just clean up a typo or two. An Extensive Reading program may be costly and time-consuming to set up if materials are not already available. I don't rate it as high as Effective Java and Concurrency Practice in Java but still you can give it a go. Eventually, you may come to find reading is its own reward.
