Example: S-96-0001-150/11mm-F2/8 Example meaning: This rope is a 150 foot, 11mm, static rope, manufactured in 1996. It is the first rope issued by Fox Co 2/8. b. Recording Information in a Rope Log. Once a new rope has been serialized, the rope log for that rope should be started up. At a minimum, it should contain the following information: 1 )The rope serial number. 2 )Manufacturer.
